EARLY WARNING SIGN & SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES


Diabetes is a disease that occurs when your blood glucose level is high. Blood glucose is your main source of energy, it comes from the food you eat. Insulin is a hormone made by the pancreas helps body to extract glucose from food and then convert into energy. Sometimes your body doesn’t make enough or any insulin, then insulin stops work and then glucose stays in your blood cell and raises  glucose level in blood.

TYPE 1 DIABETES
In type 1 diabetes  the pancreas produces little or no insulin. that's why glucose level  is increases in blood.type 1 diabetes is called insulin dependent diabetes.

It typically appears in adolescence.
Symptoms 
*increased thirst,
*frequent urination, 
*hunger, 
*fatigue and
*blurred vision.

Treatment 
*maintaining normal blood sugar levels through regular monitoring, 
*insulin therapy, 
*maintain diabetic diet and
*exercise.
TYPE 2 DIABETES

In type 2 diabetes, the body resists insulin.so, insulin can't work properly. that's why sugar level increases in blood.type 2 diabetes is called insulin resistant diabetes.symptom starts gradually.

Symptoms 

*increased thirst, 
*increased hunger
*frequent urination, 
*fatigue or weight loss
*blurred vision.
*tiredness
*leg and hand cramps
*itching skin
*wounds not heal
*vaginal infection 

In some cases, there may be no symptoms.

Treatments 

*diet, 
*exercise, 
*medication and
*insulin therapy.

Pre-diabetes

in pre diabetes the sugar level in blood is higher than normal but  lower than type 2 diabetes. now a days, many people with pre diabetes, have no symptom.

causes of pre diabetes
*obesity
*lead stress full life
*heredity
*if any person have life style disease like high B.P ,high Cholesterol , heart disease etc. they have a huge chance  of diabetes.

Treatment-
*reduce sugar intake
*maintain proper diet
*walk at least 20-30 mins
*reduce simple carbohydrate in your diet
*try to stay stress free.

Gestational diabetes
A form of high blood sugar affecting pregnant women.

Also called: diabetes during pregnancy

 Those who develop gestational diabetes are at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes later in life.
In most cases, there are no symptoms. A blood sugar test during pregnancy is used for diagnosis.

Treatment 
*daily blood sugar monitoring, 
*a healthy diet,
* exercise and
*monitoring the baby. 
*If blood sugar is too high insulin therapy is required.
Keep it in mind that no medication is allowed in pregnancy.
*excessive hunger , 
*excessive thirst, 
*fatigue,
*frequent urination.
